Common questions

A segment is a billing unit, not a single message. GSM-7 messages are up to 160 characters per segment; Unicode or emoji messages are up to 70 characters per segment. Longer texts split into multiple segments — each billed separately. Brazeno counts segments the same way carriers do.
Yes. Published rates include AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon pass-through fees. You will not see a separate carrier line item on your invoice.
No. Included SMS, email, and voice credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused volume does not carry forward. Usage beyond your included amounts is billed at your plan's overage rate.
Outbound voice is billed in 30-second increments, rounded up per call. A 45-second reminder counts as two blocks (60 seconds). Inbound voice is billed separately — contact us for inbound rates.
Engage is the self-service portal for campaigns, journeys, two-way SMS, and analytics — best for marketing and operations teams. Integrate is API-only for developers embedding messaging in their own apps. Engage plans include API access; Integrate is for teams that don't need the portal UI.
Yes — every Engage plan includes registration for either a 10DLC local number or a toll-free sending number. Brazeno handles brand and campaign setup with The Campaign Registry (TCR) so you can start sending compliant A2P messages without a separate registration fee.
